Lucetta CI Top Golf Events

Last week (October 28-30 2024), Lucetta CI and Oliver Marketing took over three Top Golf locations—San Jose, Hillsboro, and Renton—to host an event series that was as much about hands-on learning as it was about community and camaraderie. The vibe was electric as custom integrators gathered to dive deep into the latest in linear lighting while swinging for the fences and sharing a meal.

The Training Rundown

Each event kicked off with a jam-packed, three-hour training led by the incredibly knowledgeable and engaging Amy Dorado. Lucetta CI brought integrators up to speed on everything from the current landscape of the lighting industry to practical, hands-on tips for installing and troubleshooting their lighting solutions. Key topics included:

  • The Lighting Landscape: A state-of-the-industry overview.

  • Lucetta CI Technology: How their solutions impact and enhance custom integration projects.

  • Real-World Applications: Case studies that highlighted the versatility of Lucetta's lighting products.

  • System Design & Best Practices: Covering the 80/20 Rule, design essentials, and how to set up successful lighting layouts.

  • Hands-On Learning: An interactive “Science Fair” where attendees could get their hands on the gear, making it easy to understand and apply these solutions in their own projects.

According to Amy, the format of these training sessions was designed to be "concise but comprehensive," giving integrators both an understanding of the technology and practical tips they could implement right away. And as Amy shared in the latest podcast, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive—participants found the mix of introductory content and deeper dives into technical aspects “incredibly valuable.”

Food, Golf, and Good Times

After the training wrapped up, the energy didn’t stop. Each location set up a dinner spread, and after everyone grabbed a bite, it was on to the Top Golf bays for some swings and friendly competition. The format was perfect: a quick, efficient training session, time for great conversation, and a little bit of fun on the green.

In true Top Golf fashion, the evening ended with plenty of laughs and networking. Integrators swapped stories, shared insights, and even competed for bragging rights over golf scores. The casual setting fostered genuine connections and kept the vibe upbeat and relaxed. As Keith Zieber remarked in the podcast, “It’s all about learning and connection—and having a great time doing it.”

Building Connections and Future Plans

One of the most rewarding parts of these events has been the sense of community among attendees. Integrators shared their experiences, talked through challenges, and left with new industry contacts. Lucetta CI’s commitment to creating a supportive, connected community was evident in every aspect of the event.

For those who missed out, don’t worry—Lucetta CI has more events planned for 2025, so there will be plenty of opportunities to join in, learn, and network. Keep an eye out for announcements, and if you're looking to up your lighting game, these events are not to be missed.

Wrapping Up

The San Jose, Hillsboro, and Renton events were a huge success, bringing together the best of training, networking, and a bit of Top Golf fun. A huge thanks to everyone who came out, and especially to Amy Dorado for leading such engaging, practical sessions. Lucetta CI is all about making lighting solutions accessible and actionable, and last week’s events are proof of their commitment to empowering integrators with knowledge and community.

See you at the next one!
